The Mockridge Doming Systems Ltd. division of Mockridge International Ltd. are the original designers and manufacturers of the complete range of MDS doming equipment we offer. They are identical in every respect to the machines used in our own busy trade doming rooms (where we dome many hundreds of thousands of labels every day) and they have become world famous for offering ‘no nonsense’ low cost, yet very reliable doming equipment. The watchword is reliability, as we cannot afford to have our trade doming production stopped on account of machine problems. All MDS equipment is built here, at our factory in Greater Manchester, England, and so you can be assured that you are dealing with the very people who built your machine, not just a so-called ‘expert’ quoting from a service manual. Built by DOMING people for DOMING people Originally designed and built purely for use in our own doming rooms, the first machines we sold were really built as ‘one offs’ for friends in the trade, who were staggered at the prices they were being asked elsewhere for doming equipment. Soon the ‘one offs’ became a regular thing, and so the decision was taken to form Mockridge Doming Systems Ltd. as separate division of Mockridge International Ltd. We now have customers worldwide who rely on our equipment; at the last count we had machines in over 40 countries. The Modular Construction advantage All our econ equipment is MODULAR so that the smallest machine in the range uses EXACTLY the same engine as the top of the range model. This is important for two reasons: Whichever econ Doming Machine you buy - even the low cost model one - can be seamlessly upgraded to the next in line model, right up to the ‘top of the range’ computer controlled machine. You never lose money having to trade in you present machine for one with greater capacity, you just buy the plug in upgrade packs, to add the features you need as your doming business grows. As mentioned above, we ship machines all over the world. A customer in a distant country does not wish to pay for an engineer’s visit to affect a repair, or to fit an upgrade pack. Because of the MODULAR construction of every econ machine, any technical problems can be resolved by simply exchanging the appropriate plug in module - on site by the machine operator. The suspect module is then returned to us for inspection and repair. MDS hand operated DOMING KITS We are the sole manufacturers of MDS hand operated Doming Kits, ideal for those wishing to enter the high profit world of doming, with the absolute minimum outlay. If you have had the misfortune to use an inferior copy of this product in the past (and there are many of them around) you will be amazed at the ease of use you experience with the real thing.
