We have many other low cost manifolds available from our range. Built-in WashOut Station The MDS Econ 2 is fitted with an automatic washing system. This is the quickest and easy method of cleaning, without dismantling pipe work or disturbing manifold settings, and enables unscheduled or unforeseen breaks in production to re-start without loss of valuable time rather than throwing away expensive mixers and distribution tubing every time the machine stops, one mixer will usually last the whole week. Pumped Polyurethane Supply The Polyurethane resin is pumped directly to the blending and metering system of the machine, from the vacuumed containers in which it is delivered. This ensures maximum ease of use, and virtually eliminates the risk of contamination from airborne moisture. No more lifting of heavy drums of liquid polyurethane! Vacuum Pre Treatment & Bubble Removal Liquid Polyurethane is easily damaged by moisture. All air carries moisture, and therefore the quick removal of air bubbles from the liquid polyurethane is essential. No bubbles also means no time lost in getting back into production, for example after changing to a new drum of material. Nitrogen Blanket Covers the surface of the liquid polyurethane with a 'Blanket' of Nitrogen to prevent contact with air. 2'0" x 4'0" Doming Area The doming area is adjustable from as small as required to the full 600 mm. x 1200 mm. (2'0" x 4'0")' Finger Touch' Doming Track & Bench When doming it is important to keep the liquid domes perfectly flat until they begin to gel (set). During this time it is vital that they are not subjected to any sudden movement or shock which could send the doming liquid over the edge of the labels. MDS Finger Touch track will ensure that movement of the trays is smooth and effortless. The track frame also includes facilities for levelling and height adjustment, for operation of the machine whilst standing or sitting. Lightweight Aluminium Doming Trays Supplied free with the machine are our aluminium-doming trays to fit the 'Fingertouch' track. Rotary Dispensing with gear pumps. Exactly the same high quality Rotary dispensing system used in our more expensive machines. This system is both more accurate, and much faster, than the piston or perastaltic systems used by some other manufacturers. Solid All Metal Build Quality. Do not be misled by the very low cost of this machine. It is a solidly built piece of quality engineering. All working parts (inside and out) are in steel, brass, bronze, aluminium, or other metals. The only plastics used are the storage containers and the handles! You will NOT find hidden inside the MDS Econ 2, the moulded plastic components which are a feature of some other manufacturers doming machines.
